Academy Award winning actress Olympia Dukakis is an inimitable force, an incredible guide, and a true master acting teacher. In addition to a prolific career as an actress, Olympia has been teaching acting for over 50 years. She was a founding faculty member of the NYU Graduate Acting program where she trained Ron Van Lieu, former head of Yale School of Drama. She was acknowledged as one of the greatest acting teachers in the country in the book Acting Teachers of America. Olympia's main interest in connecting the heart of the character to the heart of the actor, her compassionate teaching is also rooted in script analysis. She has a gift for helping actors bring themselves to the parts they play.
